Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. These conditions replace and supersede previous issues
2. These conditions shall apply to all contacts for the sale of goods from Engines2u.com to the buyer to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions, including any terms or conditions which the buyer may purport to apply under any purchase order confirmation or similar document.
2.1 All orders of goods shall be deemed to be an offer by the buyer to purchase goods pursuant to these conditions.
2.2 Acceptance of delivery of the goods shall be deemed conclusive evidence of the buyer's acceptance of these conditions.

3. Cam belts must be changed before fitting of the unit.
3.1 New thermostats are fitted to rebuilt engines only, all other engines must haw thermostats changed before fitting units.
3.2 This warranty covers the block, cylinder bead and their associated parts only.
3.3 It does not apply to ancillary items attached to manifolds, sump, and water pump. Diesel injection pump. Injection system, turbo, distributor, gaskets, oil and water seals, sensors, drains, pulleys and sprockets.
4. Most vehicles and parts of vehicles sold from this establishment are auto salvage or second-hand and sold as such. Whilst we wish to give good value to our customers we cannot guarantee each part to be absolutely perfect and this is reflected in our prices when they are compared to brand new items.
4.1 We will always try to supply the exact part that our customers require. Due to variations in model, design and year of manufacture we cannot give any guarantee that the parts are correct for the required purpose. Sales are made on the strict understanding that the customer is responsible for making sure the parts bought are correct for the purpose required. Incorrectly ordered parts shall be subject to a 20% handling charge and any carriage costs incurred by Engines2u.com. In the event that the part is not correct for the particular vehicle we will attempt to replace the part with the correct one if notified within 72 hours.
4.2 Any rebuilt engine which is found to be faulty or unserviceable (unless the fault was declared OD purchase) will be repaired, exchanged or money refunded according to circumstance, if notification is made within 90 days of purchase. All other parts etc are subject to a 30 day notification period unless the part was sold under special terms and conditions, evidence of which will be required in writing, and assuming the part has not been subject to misuse, alteration or substitution.
4.3 If after the sale or supply of a part from Engines2u.com a fault develops, then this Company reserves the right to conduct a mechanical investigative examination. The purpose of which is to safeguard both Engines2u.com and the customer, and also to identify any subsequent liability.
4.4 Engines2u.com reserves the right to recondition the customers own unit. This does not affect the warranty issued.
4.5 Engines and gearboxes supplied reconditioned must be serviced according to the manufacturer's guidelines and documented. Failure to comply will deem the warranty void.
4.6 Please note refunds where applicable will only be issued upon the return of the original goods sold and will be issued within 14 days from the date the goods are received at Engines2u.com.
4.7 If the item sold is sold to be defective as a direct result of workmanship (rebuilt engines on1y) or substandard parts etc Engines2u.com will rectify the matter in accordance with the terms of our warranty. Engines2u.com reserves the right to undertake the initial inspection. Thereafter if a dispute arises or may arise then this company will commission the services of an independent engineer to establish either fault or liability. If therefore a unit is remove or stripped etc without notifying this company and subsequently our engineer or representative is prevented from such an examination, then the warranty issued by Engines2u.com may be removed.
4.8 Under no circumstances will Engines2u.com cover any costs incurred by the customer for faulty, damaged or wrongly supplied goods.
5. Delivery of the goods shall be made to the buyer's nominated address. The buyer shall make an arrangement to take delivery of the goods; whenever they are tendered fur delivery. Although every effort is made to ensure goods arrive at scheduled times due responsibility can be accepted where any such delay occurs. Acceptance of the goods will confirm acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.
5.1 Any variations of these conditions (including special terms and conditions agreed between the parties) shall be inapplicable unless agreed in writing by Engines2u.com. This warranty is non transferable.
Note: All engines and gearboxes are supplied on an exchange basis. Please contact Engines2u.com as and when the old unit is ready for collection (within 14 days of the warranty date) should no exchange unit be made available within the specified time the warranty will become null and void, unless an alternative arrangement has been made in writing, with Engines2u.com.
This warranty does not affect your legal rights.
